DOW-UAP-D033 Mission Report, Greece, October 2023
This declassified Mission Report (MISREP 9329374), released by the U.S. Department of War as part of its UAP disclosure release, records an ISR mission flown by the 33rd Special Operations Squadron (AFSOC/USCENTCOM). According to the report, the aircraft took off from LGLR (Larissa, Greece) at 262339Z OCT23 and conducted FMV/SIGINT collection. At approximately 0035Z on 27 October 2023, the operator observed one possible UAP flying just above the surface of the ocean water. The report describes the object as 'seemingly circular, too small to make out details,' executing multiple 90-degree turns at an estimated 80 mph before being lost from the sensor feed at 0038Z. The observer assessed the UAP as benign, solid, with unknown propulsion, and not under intelligent control; no effects on persons or equipment were noted and no material was recovered. The aircraft returned to base and landed at OJMS (Amman) at 271309Z OCT23. The releasing agency notes all descriptive and estimative language reflects the reporter's subjective interpretation and should not be treated as conclusive evidence of any object's features or performance. The document was declassified by MG Richard A. Harrison, USCENTCOM Chief of Staff, on 22 January 2026.
