DOW-UAP-D035, Mission Report, Greece, October 2023
This declassified Mission Report (MISREP 9337873) documents an intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) sortie flown by the 33rd Special Operations Squadron under USCENTCOM/AFSOC, taking off from and landing at LGLR (Larisa, Greece) between 28–29 October 2023. During the mission, at 290811Z OCT23, the operator reported observing an unidentified anomalous phenomenon (UAP) described as 'seemingly circular, too small to make out details,' flying just above the surface of the ocean water and moving straight above the ocean toward land before being lost from the aircraft's sensor feed. The report characterizes the object as solid, benign, of unknown propulsion, not under intelligent control, with an estimated kinetic velocity of about 30 MPH, and records no effects on persons or equipment and no recovered materials. The releasing agency notes that all descriptive and estimative language reflects the reporter's subjective interpretation at the time and should not be read as conclusive about any object's features or performance. The document was declassified by MG Richard A. Harrison, USCENTCOM Chief of Staff, on 22 January 2026 and approved for release to AARO, and was published in the Department of War UAP release on 8 May 2026. It is paired with video PR-035 (DVIDS Video ID 1006082).

Claims
A U.S. military operator observed a UAP flying just above the surface of the ocean water and moving straight above the ocean toward land.
85%The report's descriptive and estimative language reflects the reporter's subjective interpretation and is not conclusive about the object's true characteristics.
85%No effects on persons or equipment were observed and no materials were recovered.
70%The UAP appeared seemingly circular and was too small to make out details.
70%The observer assessed the UAP as benign, not under intelligent control, with no effects on persons or equipment and no materials recovered.
65%The UAP appeared seemingly circular but was too small to make out details.
60%The UAP's kinetic velocity was estimated at 30 MPH and its physical state assessed as solid, with propulsion unknown and no signatures detected.
60%The UAP was assessed as benign, solid, of unknown propulsion, not under intelligent control, with an estimated velocity of about 30 MPH.
