This document is a Federal Bureau of Investigation FD-302 form, used to record interviews, released by the U.S. Department of War as part of its 2026 UAP disclosure collection (release 5). It records a telephonic 2026 interview with a redacted U.S. person who described two incidents potentially involving UAP in the western United States. According to the transcript, the interviewee and companions departed at approximately 2100 for area reconnaissance, waited out heavy rain at a gate, then drove north. Around 2200, after roughly 25 miles, the interviewee noticed a red light at the crest of a mountain range to the west and pulled over. The light began moving east; the interviewee estimated it traveled between 5,000 and 7,000 feet above ground level given a ~5,000-foot mountain range and ~7,000-foot cloud cover. After about 15 minutes, approximately 6 to 10 more red lights appeared directly overhead, 'synced up' with the first light, and traveled east/southeast. One light descended rapidly (estimated ~1,000 feet) then disappeared, and the others also disappeared. The lights appeared red and, both at first glance and through Night Optical Devices, presented as single points of light.
